“Herengracht”

Excellent location right on the Herengracht Canal. Easy walking distance to all main attractions. We were travelling with 3 small children, so the major drawback with this accomodation was the stairs up (almost vertical, like a ladder!) With 4 suitcases this was difficult to negotiate. Also no parking spaces anywhere in the city - so not appropriate if you have a hirecar. Actual apartment was very good, only minor faults were the lack of hot water in the shower (tepid at best) and not really a full kitchen as advertised. No toaster or microwave - which we would have expected.
