“Silver Wedding trip to Amsterdam”

Staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was to a high standard. The hotel is situated close to local tram service into the centre of Amsterdam and is at the heart of the local community with shops, markets and restaurants. Would certainly like to return for another visit.

“An enjoyable experience”

When we arrived at the hotel, we were a little disappointed with its appearance on the outside; however when we walked through the front doors, you could not fault the hotel at all. It was spotless. You can get all of the information you need from the reception, whether it be from the receptionist, or from the wide range of brochures in the main hall. We arrived quite early, but this was not a problem as the hotel offered to store our bags/suitcases until our room was ready. Though the hotel is on the outskirts of the city, there are trams to and from outside the hotel (numbers 7 and 14), and a bus that stops outside the hotel from the airport (number 69). You can purchase travel tickets/passes from reception (this includes trips on the metro, bus and tram as many times as you like for a specific number of hours, e.g. 24hrs, 48hrs, etc...). The bar is in the main hall and is quite small, but comfortable. The barman is friendly. The restaurant is also comfortable. The menu caters for all, and there is also a specials board. I am pleased we stayed there.

“Great cheap hotel with no compromise on quality”

Comortable, clean room. Very reasonably priced considering how nice the hotel is! Staff are kind and helpful, and the travel into the main tourist areas is easy.

“Nice hotel, bad area.”

The hotel is very nice, but location very bad. About 45 minute ride to Amsterdam (downtown) and not in the best area. Had to leave hotel mid-week to relocate to a closer hotel, near downtown and in better neighborhood.

“Great stay! Affordable! Cozy!”

This hotel is excellent for all travelers so long as they don't mind being 20 minutes from central dam square in Amsterdam. Tram and buses are plentiful and frequent to and from hotel. A weekly or daily pass can be bought near hotel. Grocery store, post office, restaurants, bank, bakery and a market all nearby and all good.

“Great hotel”

This was our third time staying in Amsterdam and I have to say I was happy I chose to stay at this hotel. The staff was great, the place was exceptionally clean which is very important to me, and the room was very up to date (new furniture, tv etc. etc.). Only draw back was that it was little far from the center but we took the 15 min train ride down. I highly recommend this place.

“Great hotel”

We had a great experience at this hotel. Its about 15 minutes by bus and a bit more by tram into the city centre, but the surrounding areas were also really good for eating and drinking. So, if you dont mind using public transport Id stay go for it. The service was great and we had the breakfast one morning, which was a good choice of hot and cold buffet. If you have breakfast in the city centre it would cost you more, so I would definatley reccommend it!!! The people at reception were lovely and gave great advice for transport and opening times. The room was serviced everyday and everything was spotless. Great hotel and will definatley be staying here on my next visit to amsterdam!!!

“Very comfortable hotel in a pleasant suburban area.”

The interior is very nice and looks like a fairly recent refurbishment. The room was very clean, fantastic bathroom with a very spacious shower cubicle. Excellent soundproofing. The hotel is in a reasonably nice quiet suburban area which is only 15 mins from Dam square by tram. The hotel is only two train stops away from schipol airport. Disembark at Amsterdam Sloterdijk station and there is the No.19 bus which goes past the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
