The hotel resides few kilometers outside Melbourne CBD. The transportation takes almost 15 minutes to Melbourne center. Nearby shopping area where one can buy everything needed for the stay (food, clothes, restaurants,etc). Pleasant and quite residential area. The Motel itself was a good experience. The room had all the amenities that was described on the website. Staff was helpful. However, the breakfast was really slim and skim. Next time I would really like to see improvements on that matter (adding, cheese, fresh fruits, eggs, would still make it intercontinental breakfast for example). What was really missing was fast internet connection that should have been included into the cost. I believe it was more important than three in-house video channels! Things went ok overall.

“Not greatly impressed”

The cleanliness of the room while satisfactory, was not great, and was inconsistent. At times, used glasses were cleaned, and at others, were not. The shower was pathetic, and had no pressure whatsoever. The hot water intermittently cut out, and during winter, is not the most comfortable. Otherwise, the hotel is not too bad, and is reasonable for the price

“Good value for Melbourne during the Melbourne Cup”

It feels out of the way and isolated but was a quick and easy drive to all downtown attractions and a simple and easy train commute.

“Nothing to Impress”

A typical motel, good enough for a day stay, not more than that. Very small rooms and poor house keeping defeated the goodies like free continental breakfast.
