THE HOTEL WAS THE PERFECT PLACE YOU COULD ASK FOR: FRIENDLY STAFF, HUGE APARTMENT, THE PLACE WAS CLEANED UP EVERYDAY AND EVEN WE WERE MISSING STG SUCH AS TOWELS OR DUVET, THE RECEPTION WAS OPENED 24/7 SO NO WORRY AT ALL..... A PITY THE WEATHER WAS NOT THAT GREAT BUT WITH A CAR THERE IS PLENTY THINGS TO DO AROUND ALGARVE... PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU WANNA STAY IN THAT VILLA, YOU WILL 100% SURE NEED A CAR... ENJOY
“Easter Trip”
Booked a 5 day stay at the end of April 2011. Found the Hotel very pleasent, could do with a spruce up to the paintwork but all other stuff okay. The pool was very pleasent only worry for people was the depth at 3 metres (10 foot) might worry some people. The room was a fantastic size and we stayed in a one bed apartment with a good view to the sea. Top tip for the room you have to ask for the remote control for the telly from reception I got it same time as the key for the safe. Stayed on a Half Board basis and found the breakfasts good with a large selection of items. The dinner was a bit restricted in that there ws only two choices in the hot options and was left out a long time (this may have been due to only 50 or so people using the restaurant) the salad and dessert choice was very good. For vegetarians there was no hot choice available. Overall the place was good as a base for touring and relaxing on the beach.
“Ideal location for beaches”
The apartments are in blocks with 4 apartments per floor. We stayed in block J 2nd floor - choice of a lift or stairs - with a view of pine trees and if we looked over the balcony we could see the sea. The rooms were cleaned every day except Sunday. Towels and sheets were changed as required. The children ( aged 2 and 3) had the bedroom whilst my partner and I used the lounge - foam mattresses on concrete which he found very uncomfortable. We missed having a kettle - there was a coffee perculator - but used a saucepan on the hob. No microwave or cooker but then we only used the kitchen for sandwiches and breakfast. We ate out a couple of times in restaurants in Olhos d'Agua everyone was friendly and accommodating for the children. Although the pools looked inviting and were kept clean they were too cold at this time of year to swim in. Nearest beach a walk down some steep steps - drove to Santa Eulalia and Olhos d'Agua beaches. Children's play area a disappointment - in need of some TLC. We didn't use the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on these facilities.
“Room cleaning conditions were very poor!”
Goo location, nice view. However, the room conditions we found and that they maintained were the worst I ever seen for a 3 stars apartment. The bigger problems were in the toilet.
“Not up to 3 star rating Not impressed”
the complex had alot of apartments but the rooms were not equiped with the essential items such as a kettle microwave. the towels were not changed through out our stay. there wss very little contact with anyone within the complex. The reception was very basic and to my knowledge there was not any toilet facilities available at reception. The beaches were beautiful but we had to walk down 140 steps to access them

Area:
Albufeira, Portugal: The former little white fishing village of Albufeira, now densely developed beneath a sea of apartments and mid-rise blocks, is the regions most popular resort. The pretty Old Town is wall-to-wall restaurants and bars, though some local establishments and residential areas still remain. Its picture-postcard Fishermans Beach, with spectacular ochre cliffs and rock stacks, remains an iconic, albeit often very crowded, Algarve sight.
