“City Bed does not have a garage”

We had chosen this hotel because it had a free garage. Agrigento is very busy. The streets are narrow and City Bed is on a one-way street. We arrived after a nightmare journey and managed to park just past City Bed. We were informed that the hotel did not have a garage but we could park on a street behind the hotel (because Agrigento is on a hill this was also down a flight of steps). The member of reception staff dealing with me was harrasssed and didn't speak English. He was vague about where we could park and how we could navigate the one-way system. He didn't attempt to apologise or help us find parking. We drove round the one-way system three times before we managed to park and then had to walk with our luggage to the hotel. Other guests had a similar experience but they had not been told the hotel had a garage. The hotel was adequate but don't go here with a car.
