“Business trip”

nice hotel in a nice quite area you can get rooms with really nice view at the beach but some rooms are really with NO view Internet is expensive AED75 per day plus tax and very slow breakfast is average and will cost AED99

“Very happy with this hotel”

Very clean, spacious room. Staff all very friendly and helpful. They organised for a taxi to the airport. We arrived early in the day and were able to get our room.

the receiptionist that book me in was too pleasent. the room was very clean. just delay in getting the car delivered from the valet parking.

“Nice hotel however a small BUT”

Nice hotel, clean, big rooms, comfortable; but, I was too lucky to get a room next to the washing machines which was not too convenient at night while the room services were doing the laundry. Internet services are too expensive. Come on people, more than 10 USD for an hour of surfing; thats too much. Lot of other hotels in Abu Dhabi charge 1 or 2 US per hour or at most 10 USD per 24 hours of usage.

“Abu Dhabi's best hotel staff?”

Arrived at night, hot and tired. Glitch with credit card, but staff dealt with this courteously. Room spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. Shower was over bathtub, keep in mind if not too mobile like me. Surroundings not great, construction site right next door. Staff just brilliant, polite and helpful. After checkout took a long walk in the hot city, was offered a hot shower in pool room when collecting luggage. Recommended, well-managed and wonderful staff.

Parks and gardens. Cultural centre.

Traveller's tip

No public transport, not walking-friendly. Taxi necessary to go anywhere, and then between places. Traffic horrid, taxis often few and far between. probably better to book one and keep it!

“Not worth the money”

We stayed at this hotel for two evenings. We struggled to find anyone to assist us with tour bookings and general information about Abu Dhabi. During our stay we found the staff unhelpful and somewhat dismissive. We wrote a letter to the hotel upon checking out and they were very gracious in their apology. Disappointing though as this was the start of a holiday we had been planning for over 12 months.

Definately check out Marina Mall and have a coffee in the sky restaurant. Its expensive but the views are amazing.

“Won't be going back”

Too many little things were wrong for me to go back. A light didn't work; there were only small towels and no big ones; breakfast could not be delivered; the taxi took half an hour to arrive whereas I could have got one driving past in 2 minutes; the taxi was 3 times the price it should have been; room service took 45 minutes at 1am (what else were they busy doing?!) Overall it wasn't terrible, but as I'd booked the best room in a 5 star hotel for a special weekend, I expected something special. Not only did I not get that, there were all the little quibbles above.

“below expectation”

i am not sure how did they classify the hotel! i stayed one night, but i was expecting more from Hilton. the breakfast restaurant was so below expectations. the general environment was below expectations.
