Only caveats are that the rooms are small and that it being a gorgeous old building, it doesn't have a lift/elevator, so if you have heavy luggage or issues with stairs, ask for ground floor rooms."

We have stayed at the Dorchester, Savoy, Claridges, Goring, Mandarin Oriental and the Ritz, and we think we like the Peninsular hotel room the best so far. "
