"modern resort, big pool, lots of lush green trees"
I would go for a apartment rather then just hotel room next time as a little small.. Pool was great! Courtesy bike hire is great but my partners bike chain broke mid ride!! So be careful. Estilo bar wait time for food a little long. A few bugs got in our room due to the door flap being faulty which wasn't pleasant.. Overall the resort was very modern and nice. I would stay again despite my critisism.

"Beautiful hotel and pool"
Really nice, warm pool and beach area. Friendly staff and the food was generally high standard but expensive. The full continental breakfast however was not up to standard in the cramped eating area. Well equipped room with spa on private balcony and pool views. No lift to our 3rd floor room was becoming an issue as the week progressed but wasn't a deal breaker by any means. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and recommend Peppers as a great place to stay, remembering that there are many shops and great restaurants within a short walking distance.

"Great location and beautiful resort"
Fabulous villa private with gorgeous tropical back drop. Private plunge pool that my toddler loved but it was too cold to stay in for very long- we'd get better use if visited in summer. The room was clean although the tiles around the bath had some mould. Kitchen and barbecue facilities were high quality and convenient. We haven't given full marks as we visited Pullman Naithin beach before and the service was outstanding in comparison. We would visit the Port Douglas resort again.

We got upgraded to a pool access room which was great. The hotel has free car parking. Although wifi is at a cost, it wasn't too unreasonable. I love how central the hotel was to everything (shops, restaurants, marina)

Chilly weather is never in the forecast in Port Douglas, where warm winters follow sultry summers year after year. Fall and spring are almost indistinguishable from each other, and serve as only subtle transitions between the more extreme seasons. The tropical monsoon climate in this region also leads to many rainy days, the majority of which fall during the summer–especially in February. Winters are sunny and breezy with comparatively low levels of humidity, while the wet summers occasionally play host to severe storms. Regardless of the time of year, though, temperatures rarely rise above 30 degrees Celsius or slip below 17 degrees, making Port Douglas an ideal destination for those who despise the cold.

    Travel Basics

Port Douglas has two primary seasons: the green season and the dry season. The green season often begins in November with the first monsoon and lasts until about May. During the dry season the temperature is generally between 17 and 26 degrees Celsius, and in the green season the temperature can rise to about 33 degrees Celsius. While the green season brings warm water conditions, it also marks the season when sea wasps, called “stingers,” make an appearance in the ocean near the coast. Swimming should only take place within marked enclosures during this time.
