"Our stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing from check-in to check-out! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so attentive and welcoming. The resort itself is beautiful and incredibly clean, you can really tell they take great pride in maintaining the grounds. Every area felt well cared for and relaxing. The staff were truly INCREDIBLE. Guest services consistently checked in on us, and since we booked through Expedia, we even received a complimentary hydrotherapy spa experience, which was such a nice touch. At dinner each night, the staff always made sure we were happy, and the service at every restaurant was top-tier. Our favorite experience was Carnal—the show and the food were both AMAZING and definitely a highlight of our trip! But the person who truly made our stay unforgettable was Isaias, the bartender at Sambay. He went above and beyond for my boyfriend and me, providing exceptional service and making every visit so fun and memorable. Overall, this resort was nothing short of perfect. If you’re thinking about going—DO IT. You won’t regret it! "

"Que Onda was an outstanding property and we would love to return. The well maintained and beautiful garden contains a pool that is shared with only one other unit. It is an easy walk to Yalku lagoon as well as the reef on Half Moon Bay, or a short bike ride into Akumal. Bikes and snorkeling gear are available for guest use. The unit itself is simply gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice. Note that the Master bedroom is on the 3rd (US definition) floor, but the view from the master patio is well worth it. We were up early each morning to listen to the bird song and watch as the sun rose over the jungle, with peekaboo views of the water. The owners live on site and are so kind and responsive and we truly enjoyed getting to visit with them. Their new undertaking, a small bakery with sourdough bread, pastries and other goodies, was such incredible treat. All of our meals were outside in the garden, which was so lovely and peaceful. We spent 10 days driving around the Yucatan peninsula, taking in as much as we could, but it was Que Onda that we will dream of returning to. "

"We loved everything about this lovely house! Having private access to Yal-Ku Lagoon is amazing. And the pool and the large palapa are terrific. We especially loved the local wildlife that walks through the yard- so cool! It’s a short two minute walk to the new bakery at Que Onda (we had hot sourdough every morning)- icing on the cake. Highly recommend renting a golf cart- it made getting around so much fun. "

"We had a total of 10 people staying here and we all had a very good time. The property managers onsite were probably the best part of this trip. Isidro and his family were excellent hosts. They prepared all our meals and drinks and were always asking us if there was anything we needed. The house itself was also very nice. The outdoor space was awesome. The on property cenote, pool, outdoor gym and BBQ area was awesome. It was a great place for all of us to do our own thing. It was very clean and the outdoor space was very accommodating for our group. We would have liked to stay there another day or two. The downside is that it is not on a beach, and if you want to go to the beach, you will have to get a taxi. Mauricio is the taxi guy we used for airport shuttle and going into Akumal. Anytime I reached out to him for a ride, he was at the house in 10 minutes. Mauricio is a gem. It was a great experieince."

"A great spot to explore what the area has to offer including easy trips to cenotes, ruins, snorkeling & more. The beach area always had lounge chairs available & while beach entry was a little rocky, at this end of the bay there was no sargassum."
