Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Casa for 4 nights. All the amenities were at your disposal. The master king bed was very comfortable. Amazing views from the balcony on the second floor Many towels and a few bathroom necessities were included. We were there in off season so Akumal was a very quiet place with limited places to eat and times for them to be open. We spent a good amount of time in the private pool that was cleaned every day. We did not need house keeping as it was just 2 people and 4 days. The Casa is on the water however you will have to walk to get to a sandy beach. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was great - it was just two of us, but the place was very scenic and we used the pool every day after diving. The kitchen was very well appointed, but we preferred to eat out for lunch and dinner.A couple things to note: the taxi driver had a hard tine finding it and missed the turn off. It is called Villa Seagate on the site, but the name says "Casa Seagate" when you get to the driveway. We rented a golf cart to cruise around and get to our dive shop, Akumal Dive Center (there are 2 dive shops in Akumal, the other one is called Akumal Dive Shop)."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come back again and again to Casa Luna with our three adult children plus their friends and partners. Casa Luna is perfect for us. Roomy, with privacy, beautiful ocean views, fabulous management and staff. Plus, the 2nd floor terrace is the perfect setting for karaoke! I mean, tiered seating with the ocean as a backdrop?! The gardens are so peaceful and the house is immaculate thanks to Humberto and Rosa who are both wonderful people."

Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Casa Dos Palmas in Akumal, Mexico was absolutely incredible—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish.We traveled as a group of four adults and three children, and one of the biggest highlights of our trip was Hugo and Eunice, who prepared both breakfast and dinner for our family and friends throughout spring break. The food was consistently amazing, and they went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s needs—especially the kids. By the end of the trip, they honestly felt like part of our family.The home itself is stunning—beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. Every bedroom having AC made a huge difference, and the airflow throughout the main living area kept everything feeling cool and fresh. The fact that all the rooms face the ocean made it even more special.We especially loved the pool area in the back of the house, which stays shaded until early afternoon—a lifesaver in the heat and perfect for relaxing during the hottest part of the day.Another unexpected highlight for the kids was the yard, which was full of hermit crabs and iguanas. They had so much fun gently chasing and catching them, and of course always releasing them right after—it became a daily adventure they looked forward to.While the beach directly in front of the house wasn’t really swimmable due to being very rocky, and the nearby town beaches were also filled with sargassum seaweed during our stay, Scott, the host, was incredibly helpful and attentive. The same beach can be accessed for free if you enter from the beach side near the house, but if you enter from the town side, there is a $7 per person access fee.We spent most of our time enjoying the house, but we did venture out a couple of afternoons—to the beach and to a nearby monkey sanctuary, which I highly recommend visiting.Despite the seaweed conditions, this was one of those tr"

"having such a beautiful home in a beautiful place was amazing, we’re already talking about “next time”! the property was very comfortable for my family of 13! each room had its unique scenery and design, loved how spacious it was for us and how easy it was to spend time outside with lots of seating and shade, we loved enjoying the views from the pool and rooftop. plus the coconuts and iguanas! really appreciated the on site staff, they were a great help and fun to talk to!we enjoyed exploring Akumal so much, very walkable and new things to see and do every day! golf cart rental is so worth it for getting around too. we went to a local grocery store from the provided list for most meals but La Buena Vida was about a 6 minute walk and was a yummy dinner as well as the Turtle Bay Cafe for the fresh bakery and smoothies! plus the convenience stores were great for snacks and if you go to the pueblo around 5-6pm get the elote!! thank you Michelle!!"
