The staff members were overall amazing, and went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay! Daniel, Sibely and Gabi offered many exciting activities during the days, and there were several dining options. Bartenders were a lot of fun, and we had a great time :)

The beach and view was definitely a highlight of this hotel! I do wish the shower and balcony/pool area were cleaned a bit better. But all in all we loved our stay here! The staff was quick, helpful and very friendly!

Great staff. Wonderful drinks (best out of all my Mexico trips!) loved being able to see fish right in the ocean at the beach. Though it is a smaller resort. Buildings are worn out a fair bit. That was the biggest downside for me.

So far so good..Considering price as compared to other beachfront/ocean properties quite reasonable for services offered including restaurants pools, etc. Property needs some updating overall and addition of services and some standard amenities. Restroom additions closer to pool areas and beach areas would be helpful. Roving drink servers for pool bars & towels at each pool location would make life more pleasurable and convenient for guests. All in all we enjoyed stay and happy with our choice.

Driving up to the property, everything looks beautiful! The pools are nice and the beach is amazing. The food was not the greatest. The pools close extremely early by 8 pm!! The rooms are not what like the pictures show. Overall it was not a terrible hotel/experience.

The room we booked was not the room we were given. The picture of the Kian Master Suite with cabana as shown on Expedia and on the Sens Tulum site does not exist at this property. The staff at the check in are aware of the “problems “ and just push every one through the process and keep things moving. Sales for the Vacation Club and the 90 minute presentation are very aggressive. The food was very good and servers were pleasant. Overall a very stressful, disappointing experience.

The staff were amazing, the food and drinks were excellent. The shower in the room was horror movie scary. I did let the hotel know via survey, but they got back to me exactly when I checked out. The water wouldn’t even switch from faucet to shower. The toilet was rusty and old, the grout was moldy and dirty. The room was spacious. The pools were dirty. The beach had trash in the sand just sitting there for days.

The ceilings in our room, main hallway and dining facilities were leaking. The power went out for about 30min our last day. The bathtub needed to be reglazed and the shower recaulked and the in room furniture was permanently stained. The sheets/towels had stains even though they were clean. We liked the adults only pool, painting and bracelet making activities along with the kayaks and paddle boards. The drinks were ok as was the food. The staff were all piloted but seemed a bit unstaffed. Hotel was under a major renovation with parts closed and the kids club and spa relocated. The mariachi band at the Mexican restaurant was great and the kareoke at the coffee bar was fun along with excellent espressos.

The hotel is nice, the water is beautiful, but VERY rocky. The beach has eroded and doesn't look like it does in the pictures. Location is amazing but it needs updates & upgrades. Loved that our room was able to open up right to the water, but the room itself is not the greatest. We couldn't see much past a giant ATV parked right outside our window the entire time. It rained and our room (despite being on the first floor) had a bad leak all night. Had to set up a garbage can to catch the water. Despite that, most of the staff was great and attentive. The food, although limited was decent. Booked a spa massage and had to PHYSICALLY STOP THE MASSEUSE from excessive touch in areas he knew full well were pushing boundaries. This after a verbal warning. The pool is FREEZING. The pool bar wasn't always open or staffed.

This property needs serious repair—and a new chef. The food was awful. The room smelled like mold. The staff was great except for one lady at reception who rolled her eyes when I asked for a taxi.. not sure why. The beach was beautiful, and the gentleman who helped book trips was great. The worst part was my first night when a maintenance guy banged on my door while I was in the shower and insisted on coming in. He spoke no English, and my Spanish was insufficient to understand why. I called the front desk and was told they would take 30 minutes to figure out why he was there! He walked around my room for 5 minutes, looked in the bathroom and closet and left. To this day I have no idea why. As a single traveler, it got me shaken. I will not be going back
