It is a fine hotel but not wowed by it.
For the price I have stayed in better hotels. The AC was very poor, could hardly feel it at all.
Some of the rooms have wet room which I don't like as the whole floor gets wet, so we had to swap rooms.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we got another offer. The staff tried hard to fix our issues.
Read reviews here and on tripadvisor as usual and we as a family decided to stay at the Grange Tower Hill Hotel, it was not our first choice to be honest but now that we did it was a GREAT choice of hotels.
The hotel is within a few minutes walking distance to the Tower Bridge and the Tower or London it's also very close to the underground Tower Hill station and many bus stops. The area where the hotel sits is quiet and very nice at night as most tourist do when you visit a city such as London we walked the area searching for places to eat near the hotel. There are very many places to eat, right next to the hotel was out favorite breakfast spot that for 12 pounds all three of us had a very good breakfast including orange juice and coffee, you can't beat it. There are also very many restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, from Pubs to Italian to Chinese you name it it's close by.
The hotel is very clean and the air conditioning in our room was the best of any hotels we have ever been, everyone was pleasant and helpful with any questions we had.
If you are looking for a clean, great Wifi, great air conditioning and within walking distance to very nice restaurants and the underground this is a really good place to stay.

A bit off the beaten path, but still an easy 5 minute walk from the underground station. It is a great use of such a stylish building. The room was spotless, comfortable and well supplied with kitchenette and other accoutrements.

The hotel itself is so beautiful and elegantly old-fashioned. It has real life to it, and it offers things that very little other hotels do. The room (superior double), was very cosy and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom immaculately clean, the decor gorgeously dated and the room had small touches like books on the side for reading. Breakfast is served in the bedroom on a tray, of which there is a range to choose from. The hotel has an honesty bar, which is incredibly rare to find in London nowadays, and also had a very quaint library with a lovely cat named Lady Grey, and books from over one hundred years ago. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. They told us about the history of the hotel and the books around it, plus they remembered that it was mine and my partner's 4th anniversary (for which we were given free champagne!). Overall, this hotel gave us the perfect experience and we look forward to returning, and would greatly suggest it to other people.
The Business District's rich history encompasses dozens of ancient churches and monuments, the atmospheric Inns of Court, the Museum of London, and the Tower of London. Convenient for business travellers, it offers top quality lunchtime dining and historic pubs.
