Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas - All Inclusive

2/10 Terrible

"I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay in an Ocean View Two-Bedroom suite from Thursday through Monday. During our stay, we discovered roaches in our room and immediately reported the issue to hotel staff. Rather than addressing the situation appropriately, I felt that staff members were dismissive and rude when I raised my concerns. The only solution offered was to spray the room with Raid, which is not an acceptable remedy for a guest room, especially one occupied by a family. Additionally, when I requested to be moved, the alternative room offered was located near the lobby and did not have the Ocean View accommodations that I had specifically paid for. This was not a comparable room and would have significantly reduced the value of our stay. To make matters worse, the roaches reappeared the very next day after the room was sprayed, demonstrating that the issue was not properly resolved. As a result, my family and I spent the remainder of our vacation uncomfortable and concerned about the cleanliness and condition of the room. I paid for an Ocean View Two-Bedroom experience and did not receive the quality of accommodations or customer service that should be expected. I am requesting that management review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, unsanitary conditions, and poor handling of my complaint."

Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Really good resort and vacation. The property is beautiful with a prime location in Cancun on the beach. Everything is exceptionally clean throughout the resort and the staff is very accommodating. The food at the restaurants for dinner is very good but disappointed that only beer/wine was available at dinner. Kind of strange for an all-inclusive to not have cocktails available to order. The food options down near the pools in the day was also extremely limited. We paid for the Elite Club which was nice as it had a separate pool, private cabanas and access to premium liquors. It was worth it for us but might not be for everyone. Overall, enjoyable trip and would recommend."

"Checar las pólizas del hotel & las políticas de expedia, si la reservation atraves de expedia 4 adultos y un niño joven, tuve que pagar por 2 habitación, los cual está bien no hay problema, al hacer el checking tuve que pagar $750 pesos mexicanos adicionales ya que mi hijo en las pólizas de ellos en un adulto ya que es mayor de 12 años, y como no fue registrado como adulto supuestamente solo la reservation aumaticamente cambiaba a 4 personas y el era el quinto adulto y requería pagar por el, cuando cada habitación era para 4 personas, lo cual serían 8 personas por 2 habitaciones, no me hace sentido"

Temptation Cancun Resort All Inclusive - Adults Only

"We’re one and done. We stayed at Temptation Cancun for 4 nights and expected much more considering we paid about a lot per night. We booked a Trendy Garden View room, and it was small, outdated, and in a building without an elevator. There was nothing special about it, especially for the price. My husband and I are in our early 30s, and we didn’t enjoy the pool or night parties. The crowd was not what we expected, and most guests were much older. If you’re looking for a younger, high-energy atmosphere, this may not be the place for you. The food was okay but nothing memorable. Sea Flirt was the only restaurant we truly enjoyed. The staff, however, were excellent. The waiters, bartenders, bellmen, and cooks were all friendly and provided great service. The biggest issue was the VIP/Premier membership presentation. They tell you it’s only 30 minutes, but ours lasted nearly 3 hours. They seem to identify first-time guests by their wristband color and actively target them for these sales pitches. Once you’re in their office, the pressure starts. They make a lot of promises and try hard to convince you to purchase a membership package that is really expensive. After reviewing the details and speaking with a lawyer friend, we found many loopholes and conditions that were not clearly explained. The sales team was extremely persistent and would not take no for an answer. Be careful and don’t let them waste your vacation time. Just enjoy the resort and pool."
