"This property is still being developed with the building of additional villas within a gated area. The property management stayed on site and where a very nice young couple who were always available if needed. The property is on the southern/east side of the island which we prefer. The one thing I would say is that all mattresses were very firm. We enjoyed the property and would stay there again."

"I was a little hesitant to book as it is under new management but I so happy we did!!! This is the place that used to have the sign "beer so cold it will make your teeth hurt" IYKYK. Excellent location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! We had the upstairs room, ocean front with 2 balconies which was lovely. The staff is so nice and we felt like we almost had the whole place to our self. Will be back and highly recommend!"

"Our three day stay in Tampico was quiet, clean, safe and relaxing. The location is close to everything on the north island. The ocean view was gorgeous and we enjoyed listening to a festival in the plaza one evening from our patio. We’ll definitely stay here again and suggest it to family and friends."

"We had a large group of friends staying for a week and couldn't be happier with the house. It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The pool is one of the nicest on the north side of Isla. The owners were there when we stayed and treated everyone extremely well. Communication with the property manager was a problem prior to our arrival and once we arrived at the property. Overall I would rate this place a 3 out 5."

"This hotel is a hidden gem, located a short walk from all the action and top beaches, but tucked away in a quiet alcove with a stunning pool that overlooks a deserted beach, which I had to myself whenever I wanted it. Everything is spotlessly clean. The lovely staff are super-friendly and helped with dinner recommendations, found a therapist to give me a massage within 10 minutes, even though it was the usual ladies day off and couldn’t be friendlier. The bar by the pool makes delicious (strong!) cocktails. The gym is quite basic (and very hot - give it 10 mins for the AC and all the fans to take effect!!!) but does what it needs to do (unless you’re after cardio). Loved it so much I stayed an extra night. Strong recommendation! "
