"Being on the ground floor gave us the extra space of the outside patio. There’s a large table and even lawn space for stretching/yoga after a long hike. Kitchen has ample supplies for anything you need. Can walk to the grocery store or drive a few minutes into town for restaurant options. Had a hard time finding the laundry key, but the owner worked to have the superintendent bring one for us. I would recommend staying here for a great view and easy access to everything"

"Our family of 6 enjoyed this wonderful home. Loved there was an elevator from garage for us over 70 folks. Everything you would need is here from pots and pans and dishes and glasses. Even aluminum foil and cling wrap. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and not be on top of each other. And the VIEW! beautiful even in the rain. Bathrooms with heated floors. "Barbara's chalet was amazing! The view from the the porch is breathtaking. Barbara and her husband were extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed in the chalet for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it! The walk up from the train station is pretty steep and was quite the cardio workout, but after a few days we got the hang of it. The chalet is off the beaten path and has very little vehicle traffic so it was a very peaceful vacation. We loved every minute of it!"

"Beautiful apartment in a great chalet building, less than 10mins walk from Grindelwald train station. Epic views of the mountains from the large balcony, it was hard to stop looking out of the windows. The apartment was very well equipped and decorated. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Cosy living space, perfect for relaxing after a long day’s hiking."

"Short walk to the ski lift, train station and village center. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of options to fill up on before a day on the slopes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The patio was nice and filled with sunlight when I ended one of my ski days a bit early to relax and sip the wine which I received as an Expedia VIP. As a solo traveler, I like the option of booking a smaller room with a smaller bed at a good price point."
