5 / 5 Excellent
Me and my friend booked the entire complex for a month, having in mind that we have a lot of friends in Bali, plus that my friend's girlfriend is Balinese. A wonderful place, with a big garden / open space (top reason we choose villa Kelapa), a lot of green around, big swimming pool, perfect view for the mornings, enjoying the coffee.
Staff excellent, always smiley, eager to help you with everything all the time and make your stay as pleasant and smooth as possible, with a little exception: Made's wife, which I understood was also the villa's cook, had all the time a disturbing attitude, hardly smiling, specially while serving the breakfast, which actually was the only meal served there, as we had lunch and dinner served either outside either ordered via some local apps. Well, the breakfast was a standard continental choice - bread, butter, fruit jam, tea, eggs sometimes (we were asked if we want or not), fresh fruits,... all for few persons, so... I wouldn't say was such a biiig work she had to do, but ....she seemed always like bothered of her job.
Another thing, I would say, the 2nd or 3rd day after our arrival, one of the suspended fans in the living room area, clearly old and damaged, it broke and fell over the TV, destroying it. Luckily we were not home, so no one was hurt, but the idea is they were not replaced or fixed, so we had to bring a fan from one of the rooms, plus that we spent our holiday without a TV, which some of the home spent nights could be useful for a movie.
Otherwise, overall an excellent place to spend your holiday in Bali. Close to the beach and main area of Seminyak.
I do recommend villa Kelapa with pleasure and thank once again to all the staff there and Mr Bas, the owner.…Me and my friend booked the entire complex for a month, having in mind that we have a lot of friends in Bali, plus that my friend's girlfriend is Balinese.
