Booked a room for four people but only towels for two supplied and insufficient English tea bags and coffee. Asked reception for more towels which did come very quickly. Paid for the breakfast buffet but cancelled it as there was very little choice and most items were almost empty - very disappointed.

Great location, housekeeping lacking
We arrived for our stay and decided to go out for a nice meal before heading back later into the evening, on first impression the room was tidy and had been cleaned, however it soon became clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned as there were soiled towels on the drying rack and an used flannel in the shower. It was too late at night to go to reception and request to change rooms for a one night stay, informed the front desk whilst checking out and it seems like this sort of thing has happened before.

Beautiful location in a quieter area of Auckland that is perfect for those that want to take a pause. Rooms and resort looks to be having ongoing refreshments and upgrades. Lovely spot and can't wait to visit again in the future

Stunning views from our villa and restaurant/main building. Spacious rooms with gigantic luxurious bathroom. Bathroom was relatively clean but shower screen had some soap scum on it. Otherwise fine. Restaurant had limited options but the food we ordered was delicious. Buffet breakfast was okay, limited options there too. We went to breakfast late so would've been good if we could have our eggs to order, instead of scrambled eggs and hash browns that had probably sat there most of the morning

A great stay, beautiful grounds and a great breakfast. Villas could do with a renovation now and you need to safely remove the swallows from the Villa front doors they make a real mess and will be very protective when their babies are born so could be a safety concern when trying to get in to your villa.

Hi Really disappointing stay! Property looks beautiful and well kept Our room was another story Family arrived at 10.30 at night/ kids crying on and off all night (paper thin walls is the issue as we know kids cry) their alarm went off continuously through the night too! Our alarm was set to go off at midnight from previous clients by this stage we were wide awake One mug only in the room for 2 people booked

The room was spacious but desperately needing a refresh. Spa bath not spa and could pull out metal bits. Shower glass didn't look clean. Toilet glass door not fitting in properly so would clonk against the wall. Manhole in toilet area looked like it was starting to fall down. Air Con printed label instructions barely readable. Room was very cold on arrival. Patio furniture chairs were splayed out (pushed over) out on the grass on arrival.

Beautiful views and very peaceful, almost all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very easy to find your way around, very easy check in and check out breakfast was yummy too

Nice big room with lovely view. Huge bathroom but the cleaning here needed more attention. Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep in the lovely comfy bed as we had noisy neighbours in the adjoining villa. We decided not to stay for a second night :(

Couldn't get into our room until after 4pm. Service was unhelpful and dudnt follow through with a curtousy call to say the room was finally ready after 4pm. Room was dirty and hair on bathroom floor, bath, an shower. Wow for what we paid ... you would have been better at a back packers.

The property is lovely with the golf course and views. The rooms were nice and spacious however bathrooms were a bit run down and the the room was not that clean, the coffee machine was gross so we couldn't enjoy a morning coffee. We were not asked how our stay was by the staff, they seemed a bit pre occupied. The breakfast options were very basic would defiantly try a café somewhere else next time. Overall an okay stay we loved the location and room size!

Kia ora Talei, Thank you for your rating and comments. I am sorry to see that we fell short of your meeting expectations. Our bathrooms didn't receive a full refurbishment when we took over the property, this is an area for us to plan work on when we next look at refreshing our rooms. It's disappointing that the capsule coffee machine was dirty, I have asked housekeeping to remove this and carry out a deep clean immediately. I have shared your comments about not asking how your stay was with the front desk team, this is basic, and while it could well have been that the team were focused elsewhere, they should ask this simple question of every guest. Our breakfast menu is very similar to what the local cafes offer, we do find that the menu covers pretty much all breakfast needs; however, we do review our menu based on feedback on a regular basis, and will look at what we offer when we carry out our next review. It is nice to see that you found the property to be lovely with the golf course and stunning views we have. Kindest regards Marcus
