"The room was large, very clean, well present and had more than enough essentials to ensure that if you’d forgotten to bring anything, it was already there! The room was definitely cleaned by a perfectionist, that pays grave attention to detail. I genuinely have never left a review before but I feel like I would be doing a disservice to everyone if I didn’t make it very clear that this was money, very well spent. I will be returning, as it’s hard to find places with this much thought and consideration gone into every facet of a stay away from home. Thank you."

Tilly’s Retreat - Pet Friendly-3 Min Walk to Beach

Great place to stay for humans and pets

"Tilly's Retreat was an excellent property and felt like a real home. It was clean and tidy with games and games space for the kids which kept them entertained on our one day of bad weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the outdoor deck with BBQ was great for meals with the sound of crashing waves in the background. Our two dogs were safe and secure in the yard and loved the two dog friendly beaches located a short walk from the property. Only recommendation would be to add a mirror in in the back bedroom or laundry/2nd toilet to help manage with single bathroom. We would choose to stay at this property again."

"We enjoyed our stay, it was short but sweet. The location was perfect, just a walk away from the beach and close proximity to local shops and cafes. The house was in a quiet and safe area, and we enjoyed sitting on the front balcony the with view of Lake Culburra. Our only complaint would be having the bathroom and the only toilet downstairs. And we found the backyard and outside area not very user friendly. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well equipped for a family. "

"This property is ideal for two families and a pet, featuring a secure backyard. Comfortable living spaces, three bathrooms, and close beach access enhance its appeal. It's pet-friendly and perfect for a genuine summer retreat, emphasizing its proximity to beaches. Culburra Beach is also an excellent destination to immerse oneself in the genuine essence of summer."

Bellevue - overlooking serene Lake Wollumboola

Quiet. Restful. Tranquil.

"We only 3 days here with my little family but it was just perfect. It's not a big house by any measure, but it had everything we needed. Kitchen is complete and perfectly usable and the complimentary coffee pods, (nice) bottle of Rose and chocolate was much appreciated. Bath was big and hot water plentiful. Bedrooms were a little small, but you only sleep there so who cares. The main winning spaces were that front deck and the rear dining room - just beautiful spaces to be. The location was perfect for us - it's not central to anything and the lake is not for swimming, but that in itself was just what we wanted - peace and quiet. That said, the shops or the beach are only a 5 minute bike ride away (we rode our bikes everywhere). We met the neighbours on both sides, they were delightful. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave!"
