"This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B."

"We all love property , wish family room / sitting area has better lay down arrangement for family to enjoy together . Didn’t like high table chair / bar set up . Main floor set up was more for youngsters . Overall was great"

"When you pull in the driveway off of the busy road, you immediately feel at peace with the surroundings. There is ample parking and a yard that reflects great care and the natural beauty of the Cape. The room was so clean and comfortable. I love soft sheets and they were luxurious. Liza, the owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The place was also affordable and about a 7 minute ride to the Martha’s Vineyard ferry. "Very well situated, right in the old part of Newtown. Quiet neighborhood and close to the busier streets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kindly let us stay past the check out hour. We didn’t get a room in the house we had reserved (not in Melville but in an adjacent house) and the room we got didn’t look like the pictures posted on line. It was a little poky but since we only wanted to use it to sleep in, it didn’t bother us much. "

"It was labeled a non-smoking room but smelled of smoke. The front desk clerk was rude and the hotel itself was outdated and deluxe is definitely wrong."

"We were a bit underwhelmed by the property. It was a bit more run down then we expected. Not sure what the issue was but there was police presence when we got there, which was concerning. And not that it was the property’s fault but some of the guests were a bit noisy late at night. It was fine for one night and served it’s purpose, we were only there to sleep."

"My trip to Mass. for a wedding gave me an opportunity to see 4 different places. This one was by far the best for 1-4 people. I truly enjoyed a peaceful, beautiful, safe and comfortable stay. There are multiple beaches within a very short distance. Gooseberry island was special and I walked it several times.
