"This is a heritage listed property, so has old world charm, and is unique and beautiful. However, it is in need of maintenance (full gutters, peeling timbers for example), and perhaps a thorough clean."

Fabulous Hosts and location
"We stayed for three nights and Lisa and Keiran were fantastic hosts, they have made some changes to the guest house that have enhanced the stay. The rooms are ideal and have that homely feeling, we had a room with access to the veranda which is very nice. Afternoon tea is served daily and the breakfast ..."
"First time we have stayed at Margarets Forest Appartments and we were impressed by the spaciousness and modern 2 storey fitout. Parking was easy and the location was ideal. It’s worth noting that mountain bikes are not permitted in the Appartments (even if cleaned and stored on our own mats). Fortunately ..."

4.4/5 Wonderful! (368 reviews)
"Very clean, neat and tidy property. It had everything we needed. I appreciated it was a smaller park so less noise and traffic. The riverside bbq was nice to have lunch and feed the ducks. The rainbow lorikeets which came in entertained the children"
"It was so lovely to stay at this property, A beautiful glass of wine on arrival and coming home after a day out walking and having a bath and loved waking up to the amazing breakfast....omg the range of home made breads, fresh and stewed fruits delicious and the owners and Bella the dog, make you feel right at home. It was all these special extras that really make a difference to the stay as well as the owners hospitality. I will definetly be returning. Thank you both so much for a lovely stay, kind regards Heather "
"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. Surrounded by stunning gardens and plenty of birdsong this was the perfect getaway. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with a balcony from which we could look out at the beautiful gardens every morning we woke up. There were 2 cosy lounges with open fires and books and games supplied. The breakfast was excellent and each afternoon a very tasty home made cake was provided with the tea and coffee that was available throughout the day. The staff were excellent. However, what really stood out for us was on the day that we didn't require room service they left a basket of fresh towels, toiletries and other provisions outside our door. A guest laundry was also provided which was gratefully appreciated by all the guests. The location just outside Margaret River town was very convenient for finding wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops and was also close to the wineries. The only negative was the WiFi was a little problematic. Despite that minor hiccup, we would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of having a holiday in the Margaret River region. "
