The location was amazing, as you could be walking along the Maitai, wandering the Queen’s Gardens or brunching downtown in a matter of minutes. "The property could do with a lot of trimming back of the mature trees to allow more sun in but I imagine in mid summer it’s very pleasant. Once the gardeners had cleaned up the section it looked a lot better. The house was very comfortable with a great shower and we lit the efficient fire on the particularly cold night."

"Our family had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Ansarli Villa. The property and grounds were immaculate, and we had nothing to do except unpack and relax. The location was ideal, private, but reasonably close to amenities and services. Despite thinking we would spend some time exploring the local area, in the end we spent pretty much the whole time on the property as it had absolutely everything we could want there. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if...

"Nelson is a wonderful community, and this property is ideally located -- close to downtown, grocery stores, and nearby hiking. Shared bike/ped paths were also nearby for quick access. The unit has a couple of bicycles, and we used these as our primary in-town transportation. The kitchen is well equipped with a good complement of appliances. The garden is a quiet haven with lots of flowers, herbs, and fruit trees. This place is a great find!"

"Absolutely fabulous, like having our own wee house!!. Daphna a friendly greeting on arrival, was initially a bit nervous about the closeness of the house, but was quiet, private, absolute bliss. Only things I could fault was internet connection seemed to cut in & out- but who needs to be on the internet while discovering Nelson!, and could do with a couple ice bricks in freezer for picnics. Highly recommended, Richmond has everything you need and a great base to explore from."

"Very spacious property in great location. Handy to town and beach with massive backyard fully fenced for dogs. Plenty of local produce in the garden as well."

"The property was very comfortable and generally met our needs. The shower was a little cramped and shower head kept flipping down. We weren't able to tighten the fitting. The narrow drive and tight turning circle into carport necessitated backing in or out for larger vehicle."

"This was a lovely clean, tidy and spacious property. Well heated and very well equipped. Wanted for nothing expect a bit more water pressure in the showers and a heater (or underfloor heating) in the ensuite (which was also on the tiny side but fine for a short stay). Lots of space for everyone and the kitchen was really well equipped. Location wise, could not have asked for better! Would love to come back and explore more in summer time."
