"My stay at the NH Madrid Nacional hotel was very pleasant; upon arrival our reservation was not appearing int he system but the front desk staff helped us sort this out. Overall the staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was very varied and enjoyable and the area is very close to a subway station, the Atocha station and the Royal Gardens, which makes it very convenient. There are also a variety of museum close by. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend this hotel."

"I arrived exhausted in the middle of tha National Holiday in Spain very early for check in. As soon as I entered it was quiet & civilized & the staff was all welcoming. Wojtek at the front desk told me that no room was available but that he would email me as soon as one was. I went to have breakfast and he came & found me to say my room was ready! I will certainly stay there again & will recommend it to others traveling to Madrid."

"Great location. Great room. Turn right out of the hotel to walk Madrid for food and drink and neighborhood vibes. Turn left for sights palace and cathedral. "

"Great hotel and staff! The rooms are a bit small. All the amenities were perfect. The only issue we had was with the toilet. It broke 3 times during our 6 day stay. When called in, a maintenance person came quickly to repair. The roof top bar has an incredible view of the sunsets - would definitely stay there again. "
