Hotel Regina

Great choice. Its in the middle of all the fun in Madrid. Also I traveled alone and felt safe the whole time. Its near Starbucks amd McDonalds, its one train stop or bus ride away from historic sites and museums. Sevilla Metro station is right out the front door. Staff and multilingual, and were helpful to an English speaker like me. Oh and the most delicious breakfast a la carte comes with your reservation

I have booked a total of 4 x superior double rooms in the hotel for our whole team to stay, the rooms we were given were more like a single room instead of a standard double. My room only had a small queen bed pushed all the way against the wall with no bedside tables whatsoever because it was a long narrow room! The mirror in the bath room also had fingers prints which I think it was un-acceptable from cleanness view of point. I reported to the reception, hotel response was they were fully booked and not able to give us the standard superior room to us!!! The hotel did not made any efforts to compensate us at all! I had a overall very disappointing experience with Hotel Regina. Positive point is the hotel location is convenience.

We asked 2 separate beds but get one couple bed. Bed sheets were not clean, we arrived and there were hairs on the sheets and on the bed protector. In addition, there was not too hot water in the shower of our room, the handle did not have boil water, and in the shower head wasn't hot water at all, but only lukewarm warm. We complained three times, the team claimed it was checked and there was no problem. We were very disappointed. In the last night I was able to get a shower in other room with boil water. That means the problem was in our room only!
