When is the best time to go to Lovely Banks?

The best time to visit Lovely Banks is during spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) when the weather is mild and pleasant. During spring, the region bursts with wildflowers, making it an excellent time for nature walks and exploring the local parks. The temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, which is ideal for outdoor activities like visiting the nearby You Yangs Regional Park for hiking or enjoying a leisurely afternoon at a local vineyard. Autumn also offers agreeable weather, with temperatures usually between 12°C and 22°C. The foliage changes create picturesque landscapes, particularly in the surrounding agricultural areas. It's a great time for couples to enjoy scenic drives and explore the region's food and wine trails without the summer crowds. While summer (December to February) can be hot, often exceeding 30°C, it's still a popular time for those who enjoy warmer weather and outdoor swimming.

The Sands Torquay

8/10 Good

"Lovely, clean and modern accomodation. The staff were also lovely and helpful. The kids games room might need more work and a good clean, I also think coffee machines would really elevate and compliment the rooms. But other than that, the restaurant, facilities and staff were excellent. My kids and I enjoyed our stay."

Ingenia Holidays Torquay

8/10 Good

"The Staff were excellent. Emma the Property Manager was fabulous when I mentioned that we'd had a problem accessing Netflix. A minor problem I know but she was so wonderful in the way she handled our feedback. We highly recommend this Park. The facilities and games for children are second to none. A very safe environment for children to play andcexplore. We will definitely return."

Geelong Holiday Park

10/10 Excellent

"The park was in a great position, a short drive to Geelong foreshore and Belmont shops. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable, the amenities great and the staff lovely. The only downside was the WiFi wasn't working which didn't worry me but perplexed the Grand children 😁 Would definitely stay there again"
