"The property could be charming but even accepting it is an older style property, the house needs repair and refresh. The balcony railings are rotting, some curtains don’t close, some furniture is deeply soiled and other furniture is damaged and breaking. The gardens need attention - they could be glorious but even the beds by the house were full of weeds and overgrown, the paths were difficult to access and the water feature was stagnant; we assume it was the source of the mosquitoes. "

"The cabin was spacious and well set out and equipped. The grounds were also spacious and well tendered and a pleasure to spend time in or on the verandah with spectacular mountain and valley views. I was a bit worried about no town water or electricity but it wasnt a problem at all. The water from the taps tasted great although pressure obviously wasnt the same as Sydney, we watched TV each night, ran our computers, charged phones and had the air con on once or twice. The solar panels and battery storage was phenomenal."

"Beautiful place - very spacious and clean. The fireplace was wonderful and all arrangements were available to get the fire started. The air conditioning system was also perfect, as we had both cold and hot days during our stay at the property. Well equipped kitchen. The garden is beautfiul and the place is perfect for dogs and kids as they get a chance to run around. Our family and friends had an amazing stay and all communication with the host was prompt and kind. Highly recommended!"
