    This place is extremely relaxing. The surrounding is sublime and the onsen is one of the best I’ve seen. They pay kind attention to extras like free wine in the relaxing area and access to free small food items throughout the day for hungry guests. But it’s expensive. And for the expense I don’t think the room matches. It’s outdated and smells funky. Also the breakfast is okay, but does not vary by a single item on any day. Would I stay here again? Yes... as I was relaxed upon fully leaving. Would I give it 5?stars? Not unless they upgraded the rooms and breakfast …

    We were in Hakuba for two nights and we loved staying at Hotel Paipu No Kemuri! In addition to being a five minute walk from the closest ski lift, the hotel also offered a small discount on lift tickets and rental pick up services. We would also highly recommend the breakfast and dinner - it was super convenient and a great value. Great overall experience, would stay here again!…

    I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!…
