Echo Land

5/5(2 area reviews)

While Echo Land may not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Hakuba Happo-One Ski Area and Happo-one Adam Gondola.

The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. No point arriving before your room is ready because there is literally nothing to do, even though the room may be ready, you ...

Even in a poor season by Japanese standards there was still plenty of snow up top to have a great time.

Personally I rate Hakuba as one of the best snow resorts in the world. Access is fantastic, so much to explore, great snow, cheap & small lift lines (outside of Japanese holidays).

Hakuba is a nice introduction into Japan skiing. I dont think ill go back as a much more authentic variety if mountains exist.
