The property and staff were AMAZING! The location was perfect, in walking distance to Happo One. I loved the traditional style of the accommodations. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking to ski or snowboard during the day and a touch of traditional Japanese when it is time to rest and relax.
Good traditional style room with futon beds. Basic but serviceable onsen. Good access to ski fields. Free puddings each day!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
When we arrived we tried calling and messaging the property with no luck. We were trying to get them to pick us up at the bus station. When we organized our own taxi and checked in we were advised there is no phone to contact them. Other properties had shuttles to pick them up.
The hotel was clean but very basic. It was very expensive for what it was. The breakfast we chose not to pay for as it was $30,000 yen per person and we already paid over $4,000 AUD for 5 nights.
There was one lady at reception that helped us get a reservation one night for dinner as we didn’t know you had to book way in advance to eat out at any of the restaurants.
The hotel was located close to the ski field, but was up a hill and at least a 16min walk into town to any close restaurants nearby.
Would choose somewhere else next time.
Was overpriced and very basic accommodation.
