Saiko san and Li made my stay very accommodating. I felt like i was at home. Everything was awesome. So close to the Hakuba station and close to food, shopping and, of course, the ski resorts. Hakuba is a gem, but Hakuba West Coast inn is a great place to stay. Saiko-san speaks perfect english and made everyones stay with her a very special memory.
Host Saiko was lovely, very helpful and super fun to have a chat and laugh with! We had a large group and she was very accommodating, we really enjoyed her company!
Our room was clean, spacious and cozy! Breakfast and coffee was provided each morning which was great!
Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!!
It was a great place to stay in Hakuba and I wish I could give a higher rating than a 5. It has easy access to all the ski resorts via either uber, taxi or their own shuttle. The staff was incredible and was the biggest perk of this visit we did not expect. All of our needs were met and the staff made it feel more like a home than just a place of stay. I think the experience that the staff brings makes it well worth the stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re looking for somewhere in Hakuba!
Saiko was a fantastic host and owner of the property! The room was clean, easily warmed in the cold winter weather and daily simple western breakfast was great.
Ly, one of her live in staff, was very useful too for us to use as a local driver.
Saiko was very helpful with food recommendations and helping us call various venues or snow gear hire.
We were a large group of 7 and had booked up most of the top floor. The vibe in the Inn was very communal downstairs for meals or watching TV!
Saiko was the best host you could hope for. We had an amazing time. The facilities had everything you needed including breakfast. I was definitely recommend staying here.
The inn is more like a Bed and Breakfast, with the host living at the property and making breakfast for guests in her kitchen. The host was very helpful with dining and bus schedule recommendations and even helped us ship our luggage. Great place to stay if you are looking for something other than a large hotel chain.
Very cozy and welcoming. Close to the train station. Continental breakfast was a nice addition. Host were very welcoming.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
We had 5 nights here for a snowboarding trip. It's not the ritz, but was warm, clean and comfortable. The inn is a 5 minute walk to the JR station, which is good for the valley shuttle buses and a few resturants.
The host Seiko was also very helpful. Would stay here again.
This lovely, rustic inn is conveniently located within walking distance to JR Hakuba Station, where shuttles between ski resorts and transportation to/from major cities stop. Shared area of the inn, including restrooms, showers, and a dining lounge are always nice and clean. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.

A little hostel type inn near the train station in Hakuba, walkable distance from many shopping and dinning options, as well as close to the bus stop to take you to many hill in the area. The inn is as charming as the Seiko the owner, a sweet lady who treats you more as family than a customer. A very affordable option for the area.
The location is good near the Hakuba Station. It is easy to catch the bus to the different area. The owner provides the good service especially the breakfast.
The host was extremely accommodating and kind. Her communication skills were excellent. The room was clean. This is a good option based location near ski resorts and main streets. 10 min walk to train station.
The best thing about West Coast Inn are the owners who are very kind and helpful. The accommodation is hostel style, basic but with everything you need. The room was warm and cosy. The breakfast simple but enough, with decent coffee a bonus.
