2/5 - Disappointing

CAVEAT: The snow fall was not great with a terrible start to the season so this undoubtedly affected my impression of the resort (we did no back country, most off-piste was closed or green!). It seemed less organised than Hakuba47; the low mountain was closed and the apres ski and eating options at the bases which are really badly linked by shuttle (and small shuttles with NO ski racks on them - mainly due to the small roads they have to navigate). Having said that once you master the shuttle bus system the staff are really friendly and very helpful, just a pity the bases of the areas are poorly lacking. I was definitely disappointed in this resort; Hakuba47 on the other hand was a world of difference.
