"My stay at Oceanside Villa "Campeche" was great. Our directions were easy to follow and the entry to the Villa was easy. The house was well stocked with water and coffee and plenty of towels. The view from the oceanside patio was excellent of the morning sunrise and the Caribbean. The location was good for walking to Playa Norte and many great restaurants a couple of blocks away. "The property was great, however the Kings Pool was closed while we were there. So we missed out on that. In the cabanas the birds were pretty bad towards the Kings Pool. The front canbanas weren't to bad. It was cool looking at all the babies running around though. The staff was incredible the entire time, they were always accommodating and happy to help. The sargassam wasn't bad except one day, but never kept us out of the ocean. Best place to go swimming or floating on the island. Short walk to all the shopping, bars and restaurants in town. I will say, we used a stroller for grandson, it was ok but plan on walking on the streets, most sidewalks were not passable with it. Hiking back pack would be the way to go for infants or toddlers. It was a short taxi ride $12 one way to go to Punta Sur, worth the trip. Make sure you walk along all the walkways, stop and have a beer and ceviche! Coconuts on the beach was a great place to have a sunset dinner. The steak and Lobster tail was very good!"
