"One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve stayed at and it’s super big! Many great locations to relax and great photo opps. The 3 upscale dining selections were amazing too and included. Bed was super comfy, rooms very clean and staff was very delightful and kind. I definitely plan to stay at other Melia locations.
Small complaints would be additional staff at check in. It took over 30 mins to check in and half that time was standing in line waiting. After a long trip, a speedy checkin process would have been ideal. Room didn’t come with washcloths and we weren’t able to get some til our last day. And lastly tiny ants in the room which I believe is inevitable given that its vacation in the tropics lol and they’re so many outdoors and on the balcony, seems some were bound to get in.

"This resort was beautiful. But the rooms needed serious upgrades. Very outdated. We chose the adult only side because I’m a teacher and this was my end of summer trip and I didn’t want to be around children lol. However, the family side was MUCH better. It was nothing to do on the adults only side. But a short train ride or golf cart will take you over to the family side. I would definitely return, I would just stay on the family side next time. "

"I love the unique perk, it lets you have more options at dining, a unique pool, a part of the beach where you would have waitress helping you out and serving you, also a beach reastaurant with better quality on the food. You would also be provided with a butler, my butler was Andres and he help me out getting the reservations for all the restaurants I wanted to visit, he provide us with anything needed even sending maintenance for a leaking that they solved really quick, always texting me as well making sure u didn’t need anything, he even helped us getting some tours like el Dorado Waterpark that we loved. I really enjoy my stay, hoping to be back soon again. "
