"Our experience at this resort was mixed. Sadly, most of the staff was disappointing and often appeared unmotivated. Basic resort amenities such as toothpaste and toothbrushes were not provided; instead, we were told to purchase them from the gift shop, which was frustrating. The food options were also disappointing. The meals were very repetitive with limited variety from day to day. In addition, the plates at the buffet were almost always dirty and did not appear properly cleaned. I also became ill with food poisoning, which I strongly suspect came from the vegetarian burger at the American Country restaurant. One of the resort’s highlights is the wide variety of pools available. Many pools in different locations. The children’s pools were amazing, featuring slides and various water sprinklers. Adults could enjoy pools with swim up bars and music, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. A wide variety of entertainment and activities for children, and the water park was a great addition. The resort grounds were extremely clean. Staff frequently wiped down common areas and consistently provided fresh, clean towels at the pool. The resort offers plenty of beach chairs, and the ocean view is truly incredible. However, umbrellas should be provided and there was very little nighttime entertainment for adults. One standout experience was with Carlos (Carlito) at the front desk. He was excellent, accommodating & made the process easy at check out. "

"The resort itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Even though it’s an older resort, everything felt up to date. The room cleaning could be better and they could’ve provided more amenities. But their English isn’t great so it’s hard to communicate. The beach was gorgeous and lovely to swim in, with very little sargassum. We went as a family with an infant and we felt comfortable. There’s multiple pools that work for adults and children. The food at the buffet was pretty good with lots of variety but I wouldn’t recommend La hacienda restaurant as the food was quite bad. The service is also quite slow in the restaurants. I would stick with the buffets. Entertainment was present but could be better. Overall the resort was well worth its price!"

"The first and most important thing I should Mention is the quality of the food. Everything from the buffets, the restaurants and the coffee shops; we’re amazing. Like actually delicious food. My biggest issue with all inclusive resorts is food quality. This is my 4th resort in Punta Cana and this by far has the best food and service. Report grounds are immaculate. No roaches running around. No trash on the beaches or in the pools. The seaweed was raked daily. Only thing is say that is no fault of the resort is people wake up at 6am and stake claim on pool chairs and beach cabanas. Which is beyond annoying. But atmosphere was chill , not a ton to do but for us it worked. I wanted sun, beach, good drinks and excellent food. Also, my boyfriend proposed on this trip and guest services helped him in every way to Make it all so memorable. 10/10 I’d recommend this resort."

"Overall I thought the resort was well appointed. The room I had #4211 was pleasant except for a fairly strong smell that was either from mildew or sewer. I reported it to the front desk staff but the smell remained unchanged. This is why I dated my review good, not outstanding "

"Beautiful spot and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Very clean and nice assortment of activities but not a big party science which is what we liked! Could find quiet spots away from the pool with swim up bar. Special shoutout to Christian and Jacob at the front desk and Cesar the bell hop and Camille at the pool. "

"The resort is newly renovated and you can tell. The grounds, the buildings, the rooms are all beautiful and incredibly clean. The grounds in the middle with the wildlife were beautiful at night lit up with little lanterns, a quick walk between the rooms and the lobby/restaurants. There are trolleys for those that prefer. The beach is gorgeous, beautiful soft white sand. Turquoise water. The waves can be big and quite rough, with strong undertow. It was like this every day, it’s fun to play in but it’s not for those that are not strong swimmers. Towel wars are also in full swing here, if you want a prime spot you best get up early to reserve it. We opted for the VIP, you pay extra when you check in. It included better beach access, more restaurants, some extra amenities. We enjoyed it for the comfier beach loungers, not having to fight for a spot at the beach & the beach side restaurant. But the long list of added VIP amenities we didn’t really see, we wouldn’t have enjoyed our vacation as much without it, but it’s expensive for what it is. The reviews on the food were mixed we knew that coming here, and they were true. The food wasn’t our taste. Buffet was not great, very small for the size of the resort and very chaotic. WiFi is free but very spotty. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation, the staff were friendly, the resort was beautiful, the beach was amazing. If the food had been better we would definitely return.
