This hotel offered exactly what I was looking for in a comfortable and well-located stay. Part of studio suites were modern and had thoughtful amenities that made the stay easy. Apartments and villas were cozy, spacious, and great for groups. I loved the lush garden surrounding the property, which made the environment feel peaceful.

The Property: For this resort being on the smaller side, it makes up for location and closeness to the beach. It's exceptionally maintained and manicured and lacks nothing that the larger locations may have. Cleanliness: Nothing was out of place, nothing was ignored, no foul odors or scents, beach was manicured and swept often throughout each day. Food: Excellent! During our 5 day stay, our party of 8 was able to experience meals from every on-property restaurant that was prepared as asked. Our on-site buffet had an exceptional amount of variance of dishes well prepared. We ventured off to other RIU's within our area for dinner and without any doubt or hesitation, Macao sits alone on this one! Drinks: Great selection and well prepared. The water was also drinkable as vetted by many with their on-site filtration system. Staff: This is by far the best RIU Staff in the D.R! Attentive, Aware, Friendly, Hospitable, Detail Oriented, and above all else, Trustworthy. They took care of every request, every ask, every suggestion without delay and with haste. Their attitude reflects that of the upper management which holds early morning briefings to ensure the guest experience is upheld to nothing short of notable and extraordinary. In short, I will be returning to this resort in this calendar year with my family. I would love for them to experience what a quality resort perspicacity should feel like. If you’re traveling with kids, this resort can be quite challenging due to its enormous size. They do provide caddies to help guests get around, which is helpful. Unfortunately, most of the beaches were closed during our stay, and it was very difficult to find a quiet outdoor space without loud music playing everywhere. The staff’s service seems heavily influenced by tips. If they realize you’re not purchasing any packages or extras, their interest in helping with your needs or ensuring your satisfaction drops significantly. The concierge encourages you to text them 24/7, but in reality, those messages often go unanswered unless you’re buying something. Service overall felt slow, and many staff members appeared undertrained and barely spoke English. On the positive side, the waterpark was great, the food was decent, and the Brazilian steakhouse was excellent for a Dominican resort. However, making reservations at the two restaurants that required them proved nearly impossible. Overall, the resort feels poorly managed.

Amazing place to stay. Great pools, into the beach, plenty of dining options but the best of all, the staff. Our concierge, Angela was amazing. Always making dinner reservations for us at the time we wanted, same with playing paddle, champagne to our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything we needed was organized very quickly and no problems at all.

Had an amazing stay at Paradisus Grand Cana - All Suites Punta Cana! The food was consistently good with plenty of variety, and the pool area was a standout—beautiful, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The staff truly made the experience exceptional; everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which really elevated the whole stay. The rooms were another highlight—very clean, spacious, and well-designed, making it easy to relax and feel comfortable throughout the trip. The only downside was booking the à la carte dinners. It was a bit of a mission with long lineups, and I wasn’t able to reserve all the restaurants I wanted. It would be a huge improvement if they introduced an app or a more efficient booking system. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely come back!
