"The rooms were dated but clean. The staff was ok. Didn’t come across anybody that was rude or unhelpful but none of them went above & beyond either. Pool and beach were beautiful but you need to be up at 7am to get chairs reserved. Spa was wonderful. The buffets were mediocre at best - unique/odd options and nothing seemed very hot & fresh. "

"Had to change hotel room first day as it was 4:30 pm and the room wasn't turned over yet , there was ainenance with a ladder obstructing my view when I got there, plus it had a very musty/moldy smell. Food on the palace side was not good but great on the adults only side. Drinks were just OK, except for the chocolate martinis which were great. No free shuttle to the front gate have to hire a taxi to drive you 5 minutes to the gate. Staff barely understood anything I asked in English. The safe in my second room didn't work. I had no wash cloths in the second room. Had no idea where to hang garment to use the steamer, property isn't very well lit on the beach side at night. I did like that security came and quieted the noisy spring break neighbors yelling and talking loud at 2 am. "

"Been many times to this resort and quality has decreased a lot. Roaches in room every night. Not enough beach and pool chairs. Waiters were not courteous. Restaurants and buffet are just ok (food used to be so great). Sorry Lopesan. Hope it gets better when the expansion opens. "

"Property very clean. Rooms are spacious. The mail pool is super nice and sometimes there’s an inflatable for the kids which the kids loved. Kids club was awesome to get the kids out of the sun for 2 hours a day and the kids enjoyed the activities they had for them. They also enjoyed the water park (5 and 3 year old kids). The food was really. The tapanyaki was especially fun for the kids. Standing in line to book the à la cart restaurants was annoying and we couldn’t get the times we wanted (we were given reservations at 8:30 everyday which was too late for my kids), but we we to reception after and they were able to help change our reservations to earlier times and texted us everyday which restaurant we were booked for. You have to reserve a cabana by the pool early (between 7-8) or else you’re not getting one. The beach was really nice. Minimal seaweed. Beautiful white sand and blue water. The staff was really hospitable and helpful. Overall, we loved the hotel and plan on going back soon. "

"This place was a dream. From the activities you can do throughout the day that are included(my bf and i did yoga on the beach, and a bike ride) to the pool, beach, and food this place was amazing. The ground keepers do an amazing job at making this place clean and beautiful. They have a swim up bar, and a bar for when you sit on the beach. The food was mostly great, the only thing we didnt like was the lunch buffet options. But breakfast and dinner buffet was great, and the restaurants for dinner were amazing. It was so hard to leave. "
