The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. "

"We loved our stay here - the place is simple and clean without frills luxury travellers might want but it was perfect for us. We were able to cook in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and the windows were new and worked well. Everything was excellent, but the view is the star of the show. The place feels very private. The path to the water is outside the front door and the town was stunning."

The access to the apartment key was easy, and we were greeted by the rental company where we were escorted to the apartment. "Il BoMa is perfectly located half-way down the hill from the entrance to the Riomaggiore pedestrian district and the marina. Our hostess gave us all the information we needed to make our stay lovely, from things to do to places to eat. Her recommendations were spot on! The room was very clean and big enough for two, though not spacious; bathroom was the best we’ve had in Italy, with space and a great shower. While we knew that there would be no breakfast, Coffee, tea, and lemoncello were provided, with some store-bought pastries if you didn’t want to purchase the wonderful offerings just outside the door. We recommend this little gem - of a town and a hotel - if you go to Cinque Terre! "
