"Great hotel near the station"
Fantastic hotel near the station but within easy reach of the centre and the port. It looks like an old luxury hotel, including the old lift, which is slow but definitely adds to the hotel. The hotel itself does not have many facilities but it's connected to the 5* hotel savoia with a nice terrace with hotel and bar to get a look over the city. The rooms are very nice and just the right size, although not very big. We are very happy we stayed at this hotel overall.

"Elegant European boutique hotel"
Very enjoyable stay at a lovely hotel. Location was perfect for us. Just outside the Traffic Limit Zone (ZTL) so convenient for driving but very close to the port and many of the other local attractions. Metro and busses were close by, but we were able to simply walk to the aquarium, parks, and nearby palaces. We used the hotel's parking service which was quick and easy. The curbside parking was a little perplexing, but it's Genoa and you'll soon realize that any open space is a parking space so using the curb in front of the hotel isn't at all unusual. The hotel staff were very friendly, efficient, and fluent in English, French, Spanish, and, of course, Italian; probably more but those were the languages I observed. We never had to wait more than a few minutes during check-in and check-out. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable air conditioning and a small safe for valuables. We were able to book a family room for two adults and two children which isn't easy to find. The breakfast was also very good and seemed to strike a good balance in accommodating both European and American travelers. We will definitely recommend to our friends for future visits and plan to return again as well.

"Price "Total" mean total+ some taxes...."
Look out on parking. They got like 15 spaces for 12floors first u ll pay extra 15€ and u cant reserve space....soo it can be a drag. It is one of those hotels with old fame gone and they fighting to stay on surfuce. Still good value for money if u pay 70 pound for a double room.

"A great hotel & lovely staff. Watch out for extras"
The hotel itself was beautifully maintained with a very high level of service, and impeccably clean (ours was cleaned more than once a day if we were out!). The staff were lovely, especially Mercedes who worked relentlessly! The only slight souring moment was at the end when we were presented with the bill. We'd been given an upgrade which we'd not asked for - but I don't believe this was done purposefully - I think it was just lost in translation when we checked in. Just be careful to be very clear if you don't want the upgrade. There was also a 'city tax' - again, not put on by the hotel but the city who will charge up to 6EURO per night. This will add up over longer stays. In addition, the drinks are VERY expensive: we didn't check the price and were charged 8EURO for a small bottle of Becks, and 9EURO for a Campari. With parking (20EURO a night - and 36EURO if you don't join their Loyalty Scheme), the upgrade, the city tax and two rounds of drinks, our additional bill for the 5 night stay was 269EURO. Despite this, I can't fault the staff, the cleanliness, standards or location, all of which were top-notch.

"Great hotel on Marina!"
Definitely on our return and Tay longer list! We were traveling from Rome to Zurich by train and only had a one night stay. The town has two train stations and the hotel is between them. Cab fares were 14 and 10 euro. Great access to the town.

"Good hotel, good price"
The hotel was comfortable, it has little but clean gym. The breakfast was good. It's not very colse to the historic center but there is a bus very close. I would include a kettle in the room and a free ticket parking

This hotel provided a nice room good breakfast and was well located for easy access to the city centre. Would go back. The lift to the higher floors was amazing and should be listed as a hotel feature. location
