"The hotel is centrally located in Genova very close to the De Ferrari Plaza and metro station. The facilities are first class with an amazing floating staircase. Rooms are clean and well appointed, can be a little noisy at night since the adjacent streets are busy. Overall an excellent experience in beautiful Genova. We stayed for 5 nights in November."

"I was transferred to the sister hotel next door, the Grand Hotel Savoia, as were others who have written reviews lately. I dont know if it was an upgrade because I never saw the inside of the Hotel Continental, but but the Grand Savoia was certainly a nice place. Recently renovated bathroom was spacious and had all the latest design features. The bed was very firm, as I like it, and the bedding was luxurious. Breakfast was worth it for the food and the convenience. And the hotel was right next to the train station, which worked perfectly for me. I wished I was staying for two nights instead of one."

Restaurant staff at dinner professional with high tough service. Room clean, comfortable and very quiet. Will definitely try StarHotels other locations in Europe and U.S."

"Location very good, bed super and the best reception we had during our trip in Italy. However there is a stairs to enter the hotel, not handy with a buggy and the rooms are very dark. The breakfast was 30 minutes because of corona and 10 minutes before you had to leave, they already reminded you about it."
