"Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Portobello. The house was great and there a number restaurants, pubs, stores nearby. Portobello provides a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh, but all of the iconic sites in Edinburgh are only a quick bus ride away. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"The property was clean and pretty much as advertised. Note there are not four queen size beds but 2. The cutlery could do with being changed too as it is cheap and not fit for purpose."

"My wife and I and our 3 older kids loved staying here. The place is very nice and the 3 separate showers were really helpful. It’s close to a bus stop that we used to head into Edinburgh each day. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"A beautiful well-appointed house in a great location. Easy to walk around the city from here but bus and tram stops very nearby too. The house is gorgeous and felt like home the moment we arrived."

"We appreciated that the flat was well equipped with everything you need in daily life. A range of basic groceries was provided, too. Super markets, tram/ bus stops and restaurants are only a stone‘s throw away, which was great. Even though our host made sure the flat was well cleaned and we had windows opened whenever possible, a smell of mildew and chlorine cleaner was ever-present. Especially clothes worn at night picked-up the mould. That is why we would not stay there again (especially...

"Die Sauberkeit in der Küche (Töpfe nicht sauber, innen am Boden angebranntes). Es roch nach Katzen im Haus, für Allergiker bestimmt nicht so gut. Für uns zum Übernachten und frühstücken war es okay."
