"Really clean facility. Food was mediocre actually. The breakfast buffet is my favorite. Lots of options. But the dinner restaurants are the same old same old for all inclusive resorts. For a 5 star resort I expected the food to be better."

"We had a wonderful week at Jungala! The hotel was great… the room was huge and beyond what I expected! Separate master with en suite, full dining area, kitchen, and a lounge area with two sofa beds with a dividing wall where our 10 and 13 year olds slept - they also had their own bathroom and closet. Plus a huge balcony across the whole apartment! Tons of space. The whole Vidanta resort is beautiful. Everything is immaculate. As guests at Jungala we had access to all the pools and priority on the golf buggies to get around - although we walked a lot as the whole resort is connected with wooden walkways through the ‘jungle’. We did the waterpark one day - it’s fun but small so one day was plenty. We ate at different restaurants throughout the resort every night - all great food and service, although they are on the pricer side. We also went to ‘Joya’ which we all loved and would recommend. Spent a lot of our time at the ‘beach club’ - loved it! (FYI you do have to get there early to reserve a spot) Beach/ocean was a little disappointing as it’s very rocky so not really suitable for swimming. Service throughout the resort was faultless. The concierge team at Jungala were on hand 24/7, quick to respond and made our stay easy! We had such a relaxing, fun week… we don’t often revisit resorts but this could be an exception! Would highly recommend."

"The property was beautiful and well kept. The food was a huge let down. It felt like a chore to eat every day. Staff were great. Its a big property so we definitely got a lot of steps in daily. It was so nice to see all the animals around"

"This was our third visit to this resort. The staff are very friendly and the food was great. Because of our package, we were able to eat at the à la carte restaurants every day. Manuel Molina at Steakville, where we ate twice, was one of the best. The steak I had was delicious. We also ate three times at Momma Mia (Italian Cuisine), and each time were served by Eddie who was outstanding! William the manager and Edy the chef also were great and brought is a special dessert treat to taste. It was fantastic and we recommended it for future consideration on the menu."

"Everything was great. My friend had a bad fall and hurt herself badly. The staff was extremely helpful in getting an ambulance and helping with her care before they arrive. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff were all extremely helpful and nice. Bar and restaurant service was great. Beach view was spectacular and the pool looked over the ocean. A 10++. Only small problem was it was quite a distance from anything else but being all inclusive you really didn’t need anything else."

"I’m diabetic and my insulin pump died while I was there and they went above and beyond to get me insulin and syringes from off the resort. Completely saved our trip. The food was incredible for the most part and our family had the best time! My only complaint was the air conditioning shutting off when we left the room. Things never really cooled off but it could have been worse."

"We had a wonderful vacation here. The owners are wonderful and helpful. We hired a cook and she delivered delicious breakfast and dinner meals. The Villa was spotless and roomy. The pool was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. The two villas easily accommodated our party of 20 (ten adults, ten kids). It's a little inconvenient to get to the beach, but we enjoyed our time there. We will return on our next trip to Mexico. "

"The activities group is great and a lot of fun at the main pool. The golden pool has an amazing staff like Miguel. The rooms are clean, all staff is friendly and helpful! Selection of restaurants is great! The elevator in our building #1 didn’t work 98% of the time so walking to the third floor wasn’t fun multiple times a day. "
