"I confirmed my stay with VRBO and I arrived in Tulum. I received a message from the host that they would not honor my reservation. I had already paid, received a confirmation from VRBO, and was in the city. I had to contact VRBO and cancel, then I had to try to find a place to stay that would accept an immediate reservation.
