"While the staff at Secrets Moxché were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, the overall experience did not meet my expectations for the price. One of the biggest frustrations was being invited to a “90-minute” presentation for a spa voucher that turned into a lengthy, high-pressure Hyatt membership sales pitch lasting more than two hours. The room also had some issues, including stained pillows and a persistent damp feeling caused by humidity. During our stay, the beach was heavily affected by seaweed as well. Dining was another letdown. Most restaurants required reservations, limiting flexibility, and some menu items carried additional charges despite the resort being advertised as all-inclusive. The food was average and not what I expected from a luxury property. Other drawbacks included small elevators, no alcohol stocked in the room, no alcoholic beverages through room service, and the lack of a 24-hour snack option. On the positive side, the Preferred Club amenities were enjoyable, the nightly entertainment was excellent, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Overall, the resort was not terrible, but it did not deliver the value I expected, and I would not choose to return."

"The hotel would say that it is almost perfect, excellent food and beautiful facilities. The staff is first class. The only thing I can say about the negative hotel is that it doesn't have much to do as a family and let me explain, we are a married couple with only one daughter and the places for teenagers are only for teenagers and there is nothing in the hotel to be able to spend the night as a family entertained with our daughter. They should have more areas where you can spend time with your family, for example some game room or bowling area or some escape room would be ideal to spend the nights with the family as well as having televisions in the lobby area they only had televisions in the sport bar and one is not always in the mood to be in places with a lot of noise. Everything else is perfect."

"The service was amazing; however most restaurants were closed and the beaches were covered in mounds of seaweed. As such, we couldn’t enjoy the beaches or the ocean. Some of this was seasonal, but we were never notified of the limitations and reduced amenities. We couldn’t even book many of the excursions due to the seaweed and oceans. Additionally, several areas and amenities were under construction with no notification."
