"The house and location was great. We had alot of issues with the workings of the house Day one had problems with the plumbing up stairs toilet. It should of been fixed before we got there. No ice machine or hair dryer. We ended up having to buy our ice and hair dryer. Both of which you said was there? No dish clothes or dish towels, we had to use white wash clothes and hand towels. For a house that sleeps 14 we only had 6 plates. Dishes were very limited. We had nothing to clean up with, (mop,dust mop,etc). Said you had or showed games inside and out, didn't have any. Had BBQ but no propane. We're without hot water in the bathrooms downstairs for 10 days, and still didn't when we left. We had problems with the gate, it wouldn't close. When we left it was still open. The response that we would get from Ali rental was we will let our maintenance team know. I don't know who the host was but we never heard from them. The people that do your cleaning could do alittle better. Patio doors and floors. We paid alot for this place and was overall disappointed. "

"Overall we were impressed with our stay. The neighborhood beach was not accessible at all due to a large homeless encampment, however many other nice beaches were within a 10 minute drive. The location wasn’t too far away from main highway junctions, shopping, or beaches either. "

"We loved staying at this home for our mini vacation. It was comfortable with plenty of space, and the outdoor area especially was a dream. It is a bit far from the main attractions & tours, so we spent a lot more time in the car than expected. "

"We had a wonderful stay. Property was as pictured. The biggest challenges we found is that the area you need to drive through to get to the property is very run down. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. But if you want to explore around it is not. I would have liked the property to have also listed that there were things like - washer and dryer, hair dryer, general cooking things like some spices etc. I would have also liked some recommendations of potentially safe beaches. While it says close to beach we didn’t risk going to any local because of the number of homeless people at many of the local beaches. All in all, property is clean and nice. The gated community in which it is located provides some additional security in a very unsafe and run down part of Oahu. "

It was even better than we imagined—tons of space for our family to spread out, super clean, and in such a peaceful area. At night, we loved stepping outside to enjoy the quiet and do some serious stargazing. Absolute magic.And let’s talk about the extras—beach mats, boogie boards, and more were right there for us to use, making beach days a breeze. "This van was amazing to rent and travel in! Check in and return process were super streamlined and thorough, really appreciated the owners walking through all the features in person and being flexible with checkout location. There are lots of quirks that come with an older vehicle, like no ac and a bit slower highway speeds. But these were expected and the small fan plus window vents made nights sleeping even in pretty warm temperatures doable, much better when there was a breeze. And we were able to get around everywhere we wanted to reliably and safely. Since this vehicle is so iconic, we also had lots of positive interactions with fellow travelers and locals who seemed excited to see a rig like this traveling around the island! Really appreciated all the little touches and how homey everything felt :) "
