"The host was absent during our stay, which given the time of year (xmasnew year) is perfectly understandable. Instructions for check in were sent the day prior to arrival, everything was clearly explained and well organised. The experience was absolutely seamless from check-in to check-out. The room was nicely appointed with lovely internal styling, well matched to the rustic exterior appearance. Small touches like what appears to be an old decanter used as a shade for a hanging light are a personal favourite for me! Would highly recommend as a place for a weekend getaway or a longer stay (5 nights) such as ours. We would love to be back in future."
