Lovely motel, very clean and neat with comfy bed. Perfect for a quick stay at.

Breakfast was good but not great ......................................................

We stayed one night and enjoyed the quiet, comfortable lodgings. It was cool outside, and the cosy heating was appreciated. The carport was great for our three motorcycles. There was no noise at night, and the Cottage was a short ride to cafes for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Beacon resort keeps the whole family happy. U can swim, u can play table tennis, billiards, basketball tennis and the little ones can play in the under 6 Zone. Skatepark across the road. Mini golf 10 minutes away, walk along the coast line and watch the sips come in. Visit the light houses. Play golf. Wine tasting a Jack rabbit.....Eat ice cream .....I could go on and on. I have been here many many times over the past 27 years bringing family and friends.

Clean and spacious and nice staff

The family room was perfect for a 'girls night away'. The location is great, room was clean and beds were comfy.

We were here for a night's stay after a trip to 12 Apostles and other places. Called them up earlier in the day and informed that we are going to check in late. The hotel staff were very courteous and were ready for us just when we entered the property. The family room was very comfortable with a queen bed and 3 single beds and clean linen. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Hotel was very nice, modern rooms and good location. Hotel staff were pleasant in response to queries. Only aspect of improvement would be to have some crockery on hand and possibly a toaster. Apart from that the hotel ticked all required boxes as a lovely place to stay.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The facilities were all kept immaculate, and the food and service were great. They allowed us to store our bags while were shopped after checking out. The view from the room was virtually non-existent, and we were on the top floor, but the comfort and quality made up for this.

Lovely place to stay and relax

Well located rooms for when you’re visiting the Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles. Room was clean and as described. Communication with the host was excellent as was their reminders on how to access the property.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Would be great for families.

We were travelling for work with a young baby and the staff were considerate and moved us to a room that was further away from the road without us asking. They also didn't hesitate to help when we realised we'd forgot toothpaste and happily accommodated us. The meals offered in the restaurant were also fantastic! They were much better than I expected for a motel restaurant and very good value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mt Gambier! Highly recommend
