Romantic Getaways in Melbourne

Parking is not owned by hotel and don’t advertise anywhere on 3rd party websites that it’s not available. Very limited street parking. Check the signs. Room I stayed in towel rack was broken off the wall. Rooms seem very outdated.

Great location and loved the blockout blinds. Only items i'd fix were the pillows were extremely soft and there was a "night light" in the toilet that we couldn't work out how to turn off. Thanks

Staff were professional, hotel location is great. A little dated, had a staff member open our door before checkout, not impressed. Otherwise suited our needs

Amazing Staff and Location is absolutely perfect for a say in Melbourne. Breakfast options are extremely pricy with Melbourne being the heart of Cafes my recommendation would be skip the breakfast and explore Melbourne's laneways! Otherwise hotel and stay was perfect.

We stayed only one night - however disappointed to find out that the Wellness Centre at the property was closed for renovations (since April 2026) and not available for use. This was only advised to us after we made the booking. The staff at the front desk were apologetic, blaming it on 3rd party booking sites (such as Expedia, for not updating the information), but it was still disappointing to find this after we booked. They were generous enough to offer a late checkout which was appreciated. The room itself was underwhelming for the cost, we definitely had better expectations being a Grand Hyatt Hotel. There was soap scum in the shower walls, the wardrobe mirror was not clean, the floor appeared to have been vacuumed but not well, it was not totally clean. There was a used shower cap left in the shower hanging on the taps. The furniture drawers in the room were half broken, including the power connection (USB etc) cupboard, the door would not stay closed. Unfortunately for the price, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, and while I can understand the place needs some repairs and maintenance, the cleanliness standard was very poor.
