Pick one of our specially selected hotels in San Francisco and you will be guaranteed a comfortable place to stay, whatever your budget. Most of our accommodation is ideally located for business travellers, but also shopping and sightseeing in this vibrant, ethnically diverse city.
San Francisco is one of the most iconic cities in America, with its blend of inspiring architecture and multi-national inhabitants, but one thing you can depend on is that wherever you venture in San Francisco, you will always receive a warm, Californian welcome.
Something for everyone
The Golden Gate Bridge is probably San Francisco’s most famous monument and is hard to miss as you walk around the city. The best views are to be had from the lush green Golden Gate Park, but to get an idea of the city as a whole, take a cruise around the bay. Some tours stop at the famous Alcatraz prison too, where you can visit the cells and hear the stories of those imprisoned on “The Rock”.
The city is often misty in the mornings, so why not head to one of San Francisco’s many museums to pass the time till the sun appears? The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is a reminder of the ethnic diversity of the city’s inhabitants, while the California Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park and the Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina will keep enquiring minds occupied for hours on end.
The city's story
San Francisco has always attracted crowds of people, from the workers who flocked over from Asia during the California Gold Rush, to the hippies in the 60s, to members of the LBGT community—all sorts of people have adopted the city as their home. As such, it has a lively feel and the various neighbourhoods are diverse, unique and, above all, welcoming.
The city has one of the best public transport systems in Western USA, and the legendary streetcars are the easiest way to get around. No matter where your San Francisco hotel may be, you’ll love exploring this fascinating city.
