This is an awesome hotel! It's within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants and it's close to Pier 39. The staff was very nice.

The ice maker on our floor was broken and the front desk refused to bring us some. They told us to go to another floor and get some. The 2nd pillows on the bed were old bumpy and gross. There were only 2 decent pillows and the 2 bumpy ones were conveniently placed behind the newer ones which tells me that it was even obvious to housekeeping that these should not be there so they were hidden. There were no spare pillows in the room & the front desk didn't answer so I could not get new ones. We stayed here less than a year ago and we requested a microwave to be brought to our room so we could reheat our food. They gladly brought us one. Fast forward to this weekend and the front desk claimed they didn't have any microwaves on site and refused to help us heat up food. Unacceptable, since we know it was a blatant lie. They have a full restaurant onsite and could have helped. This was an unexpected staycation and service is what you leave your home for. Service was less than...
