"Clean and quiet"

"Sad to see such a well known brand be represented the way it is at this location. The elevators need to be serviced as they were going to floor all on their own which creates delays. The staff seemed uninterested in fixing this or acknowledging a safety concern for a 10 story building having elevator issues. Rooms are only cleaned by request and that doesn’t result in any price decrease for bypassing that. The restaurant has decent food but pushes the overpriced and underwhelming buffet. The prepaid breakfast is indeed cheaper but it doesn’t state that is the only option when purchased. Additionally, the restaurant was closed one more and getting any sort of refund was tedious. They removed a day of parking which was nice, although they told me when I checked in the parking lot is owned by different people so curious how that works out. And that gets to the parking. The parking lot needs refinishing and cars have been parked there for months without moving (I was there a few months back and reluctantly had to stay here again…I won’t make that mistake again). There is nowhere to park other than the $25 (or more) per night. I’m wondering how many other businesses get to charge a paying customer to arrive at their business and charge for staying. I know this isn’t unique to this hotel although they were unwilling to provide options or concessions to the price."

"Room was nice and clean. Continental breakfast was very good.. Included boiled eggs, waffles, danish, oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese, breads. Better than most continental breakfasts. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the pool. The place is a bit dated, BUT, that is not a bad thing. It gives this place some charm and identity, nut like most of the new hotels which are large boxes."

"Booked our stay the room smelled strongly of mold and the beds had bedbugs. I checked in took a one hour nap & woke up with a swollen ankle Bitten multiple times I took photos of the bed bugs as well went downstairs to ask for a refund the worker said they’d process, they never did and kept my money."

"When we first drove up we thought it looked really fancy, valets and the entrance of lobby was immaculate but once you get into the rooms a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling and its not just our room, we had to switch to a different room and same cobwebs on this one. The sliders doors need some WD-40 because they are so hard to open and enjoy the balcony(again on both rooms) The hotel seems to want to make themselves look like this lavish hotel in the beginning but once you get to the rooms if feels like you're staying in a whole different hotel. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were nice."

"The location was extremely convenient to the Yosemite South Entrance. We went the first week in May and the fireplace in our room took away the chill. We loved the facility and would definitely return."
