We loved staying here! The hotel is beautiful, I loved that they played that old jazz music like Frank Sinatra, it had a very nostalgic feel. The staff was ALL so friendly and helpful. Our room was cute and clean, as was our bathroom. The restaurant next door is delicious and the location was close to Union square and the cable car pickups/dropoffs. The little store across the street was also very convenient!

Great location, stunningly beautiful hotel! The staff was amazing Charles at the front desk welcomed us and made everyone he came in contact with feel like a VIP not only at check in but every time we past by the desk checking on us making sure we were good. We read about lots of homeless people there is a few but definitely not a bother and the hotel it self is very secure always a front door person. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing Vidal the bartender was entertaining and always had great suggestions for dinner. It was a perfect stay

Had a wonderful two nights at the Marker. Started off in great style with super welcoming check in and free wine and popcorn. Very stylish hotel. We loved the decor and ambience. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the morning coffee in the library was a treat. All the front desk staff we spoke with were super helpful and friendly. Location was very central and convenient for sightseeing. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel that offers many additional perks such as complimentary water bottles, wine, breakfast vouchers for 2 and free coffee/tea in the mornings. The restaurant is very good. The hotel is centrally located; however sits on the border of an area plagued by homelessness and substance abuse, which is unfortunately quite prevalent in San Francisco. I would not avoid the hotel but would make sure to not venture south and to use caution when exploring the immediate area.
